The thing with books…

There is this thing about books — the common alterations used or any such demeaning word signifying it not being new, does not do justice to books.

A book is never used. It is read.

A book is never second hand or third hand or any number of hands you can mention. If a book has already been read by someone, it simply means, it has one more story other than those put in words.

This other story is told by the folded page, which was done so to make coffee - to add to the flavor of the story. The other story is told by the mark of the rim of that very cup.

A book is not just a bouquet of ink marked papers, it is much more. It is an experience. And when you pass on that book, the experiences must too.
